Gabe had a hard time learning to read when he was younger. he went to a catholic school that just expected its students to know how to read, not giving them any help if they did not. after moving to the public school system, Gabe picked up reading pretty quickly and was soon reading advanced books with lots of complicated words. dreaming of the future he was drawn to fictional, spaceships magic and stories of dragons enticed his mind. he was particularly drawn to books about space travel, dreaming of what might exist beyond the confines of our lonely blue spec floating in a sea of infinite possibility. when Gabe reads these wonderful books, he begins not to see the words and instead sees the events of the book unfolding before his eyes. he has a hard time reading a book if nothing is happening in the words to spark his imagination. he finds it hard to stay focused on the words if he is bored. for that reason Gabe has a hard time finding books that interest him. he enjoys reading large books when he can find them.
Gabe has never been much of a writer. he has always found punctuation to be difficult and often gets off the topic of the paper. as mentioned in the previous paragraph Gabe fell in love with big words and how they could be used to convey not only a story, but also the emotions behind the story.
